| Bio | Dr. Williams teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in early childhood education across face-to-face, online, and hybrid modalities. Her research focuses on practical solutions to educational challenges, particularly through university-community collaborations, informed by her interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Applied Child Development from Tufts University.. During her time at UMF, she served a 6 year term as Division Chair for Teacher Education, Health, and Rehabilitation Services. She has also secured over a half million dollars in funding to support teacher workforce development through initiatives such as the New Teacher Academy, UMFs LEAD Teacher Apprentice Program, and a variety of other efforts to support both pre-service teachers and adult learners.
